Welcome to the Digital Mindset Playroom, an interactive exhibition showcasing new technology and digital solutions. The exhibition is open to everyone! No need to sign up, just show up!

Do you want to learn more about virtual and augmented reality and its potential? See 3D-printing in action? Know more about user experience and service design? Learn about prototyping? Meet startups, researchers, students and companies working with digital services and technologies?

Digital Demo Stockholm

On the same day Digital Demo Stockholm (DDS) initiative is organizing Digital Demo Day #3, a triple helix conference to share insights and results from the work with digital solutions in the Stockholm region. One new element in this year’s Digital Demo Day is the Digital Mindset Playroom which will run in parallel all day.

Physical movement prevents diseases and improves life quality and longevity. Exercise and movement is especially important for visually impaired and deaf-blinded persons. We have developed a prototype where vibration motors are attached around the calves. A computer program sends the signals to the engines in a direct pattern. With some practice you can dance and work out - to music! Come in and try at the Digital Mindset Playroom!

About EndoMetrix

Did you know 1 in 10 women suffer in silence? Endometriosis affects women both physically and emotionally. We are the young start up that listened to
these women, understood their needs and are now creating a platform to help them. EndoMetrix allows women to upload their symptoms & treatment, generating a pattern over time which correlates and assesses effectiveness. This allows healthcare professionals
to co-create a care-plan and adjust treatment with far greater insight.

What we want to showcase

We will share the experiences of women, show how EndoMetrix works and, and how it could benefit women and the healthcare system.

Challenge: Many seniors find it unpleasant to leave home keys to more or less unknown people. Handling of keys in the home care service is resource-intensive.

Solution: By changing or supplementing with digital and key-free solutions there is great potential for increased efficiency, reduced costs and increased security and greater freedom for the elderly.

Come and see how the sensor technology and its interface works when tracking chemical substances and pathogens in the water.

Partners: Stockholms stad (Miljöförvaltningen), Stockholm Vatten och avfall AB, Ericsson, Telia, KTH, Stockholms universitet, Linköpings universitet.

Challenge: Identify various chemical substances and pathogens in the entire life cycle of the city’s water supply system.

Water monitoring today is basically depending on manual field sampling and analysis in laboratories, which is a costly activity with an elevated environmental burden due to transports to and from sampling sites.
